Throughout the weekend, your guests will have exclusive access to the many activities that we offer at Camp Manitou. Groups may put together their own pick-up games of basketball, baseball, volleyball, or tennis, or you can arrange a schedule to really make it feel like a day at camp!
Swimming and boating are available at the waterfront, and trips to nearby Maine attractions and golf courses can be recommended for those that want to explore the area.
End your evenings with a campfire and s’mores to cap off a beautiful day in the great outdoors of Maine.
We offer a variety of group and private accommodations to suit the needs of even your most discriminating guests. All cabins and private rooms have indoor toilets and showers, lights, electrical outlets, and sturdy wooden-framed single, bunk style, or king size beds. We provide linens and towels. We can house up to 500 people in the following configurations:
- Cabins – 10-20 people per cabin, with 2 or more showers and toilets per cabin
- Health Center Rooms – climate controlled individual rooms, sleeping 1-4 people, with access to shared hallway bathrooms. Bathrooms are handicap accessible.
- Condos – individual cabins, sleeping 1-2 people.
For those guests that just aren’t up for the cabin experience, we can recommend a number of hotels and B&Bs in the area.
Which reception items do you provide?
You are welcome to use our camp plates, tumblers, forks and knives. The dining hall has tables and benches for 500, plus 90 chairs. Many couples choose to put 2 rectangular tables together to make a square table, which seats 12-16.
Can we bring our own liquor?
Yes, in fact we require that you do. Our bartenders can serve it, but we can’t buy it or sell it for you.
How will my grandma get up the hill after the ceremony?
We have golf carts on hand and will be happy to shuttle your guests to and from activities as needed.
Can you recommend vendors?
We’d be happy to! Email us at .
